What drew me to take this picture was the curving line amongst the layers of ice on the berg

There is much to photograph around Union Station in the lower downtown area of Denver

With Reykjavik also being so far north the position of the sun changes drastically over the course of the year as well which also provides differing directions of shadows from the light

Pine Cone in the Snow Holiday Cards:Package of 50 Holiday Cards with a boat on itAs some snow fell in the city I took advantage of this and headed to the foothills to photograph. I soon came across a tree with many pine cones where I spent some time taking pictures. With the fresh snow in the tree and a small blanket of snow as a background this was one of my favorites from the images I took. The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year
